Nigeria Air Go Start Operations April 2022

By the time he dey yarn with tori pipo after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting yesterday, the Minister tell all man say the Council approve the Outline Business Case for the establishment of the National Carrier. He tok say goverment go hold 5% stake, Nigerian entrepreneurs go hold 46% while dem go reserve the remaining 49% for strategic equity partners, including foreign investors wey dem never know yet. The Aviation minister also drop voice say the council approve N1.49 billion for the provision of Automated Civil Aviation Regulatory Equipment wey dem go put for the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport. 

 

Minister of Finance, Budget, and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed explain say dem go digitally transfer the transport subsidy payment of N5,000 to the vulnerable for a minimum period of six months and a maximum of 12 months, after dem remove fuel subsidy by June 2022 to give people time to adjust. She point out sayas at the last Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) meeting, fuel subsidy dey collect nearly N250 billion per month and three trillion yearly form the country pocket, as the NNPC dey submit almost-zero naira.
